Admissions Criteria

Admission to Medeshamstede Academy is through Peterborough Local Authority. Pupils are aged 4–16 and all have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with Autism as the main presenting need. Places are named by the LA in the EHCP following consultation with the academy. Transition arrangements include personalised transition plans and induction visits; new pupils may start part-time for up to six weeks to support settling in. Transport to the academy may be provided by the LA if distance criteria are met.
