Head Teacher's Message

Paddington Academy is a non-selective inner West London school, judged Outstanding by Ofsted in 2011 and 2023 in all areas. Its mission is that every student is well-educated, has the opportunity to attend university, and lead a happy and fulfilled life. Core values are Hard Work, Integrity and Excellence; the school emphasises high expectations across uniform, behaviour, attendance and learning, and promotes excellent teaching with a large Sixth Form.

Curriculum Highlights

Knowledge-rich and broad curriculum rooted in the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) at GCSE; academically rigorous and carefully sequenced; frequent and systematic reviews of learning.

All admissions are processed by Westminster City Council through the online secondary transfer process. Paddington Academy is significantly oversubscribed for Year 7 entry. The Pupil Admission Number (PAN) for September 2026 is 180 and a waiting list is held. The deadline for applying for a Year 7 place for September 2026 is 31 October 2025.
