We are designated by the DfE as a School of Christian Character. Children of every denomination are accepted into the school and we study the major world faiths as part of the Religious Education curriculum.
Marcus Cook, Headmaster, has led The Croft Preparatory School for over 20 years, blending academic excellence with personal growth. He created the "Backpack for Life" programme to equip pupils with skills beyond academics, focusing on emotional intelligence, a growth mindset and societal contribution. He fosters a coaching culture and invites visitors to experience The Croft.
Breakfast Club runs 07:45–08:30 and Wraparound runs 16:00–18:00 for children aged 3 and above. For details, [email protected] is available.
We aim to be an inclusive school. Our Class Teachers use Quality First Teaching to meet the needs of all the children in their classes, including those with additional needs such as dyslexia, ASD and ADHD. We also work with a range of other professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Counsellors, and follow their advice in school.
School fees are due on the first day of term. Fees may be paid in monthly instalments. The School offers Pupils’ Personal Accident Insurance through Marsh Education Practice.
