Wood Lane provides SEND support with a range of interventions and services, including guided reading, English interventions, handwriting and timetables support, pre-teaching and follow-on sessions, SATs booster sessions, nurture and emotion coaching, social skills and teamwork, early communication support in EYFS, occupational therapy, and a variety of targeted interventions delivered in-class or outside of lessons. Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are devised for pupils with needs, and pupils may have EHCPs; pupils also have One-Page Profiles and Pupil Passports to share strengths and difficulties with staff.
