"Qui vit content tient assez"
The founding Christian principles on which the School was founded remain embedded in our community today through The Witham Way: Be your best self (Ecclesiastes 9 v10, Titus 2:7) and Treat others as you would like to be treated (Mark 12:31).
Headmaster William Austen describes Witham Hall as a happy and thriving co-educational day and boarding school for ages 4-13, with a warm, caring ethos and strong pastoral care, a holistic approach to education, and high expectations for academic, artistic and physical development.
Breakfast Club for early drop offs; Pre-Prep Crèche available each day until 1800; Prep School day finishes at 1715, but pupils can stay for Tea and attend a club or activity from 1800-1900.
Admission is via registration (non-refundable £100 registration fee to be on entry lists). For Pre-Prep, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no formal entrance exam for the Prep School; preferred entry to the Prep is at age eight (Year 4) but late entry is considered if places are available. A deposit of £1,400 is required to secure a place, credited against the final balance with any surplus refunded. Four buses operate from Oakham, Oundle, South Luffenham and Uppingham for morning transport. Means-tested bursaries are available; scholarships are not merit-based at Witham Hall. Most pupils move on to leading senior schools such as Oakham, Oundle, Uppingham, Rugby, Eton and Wycombe Abbey.
Registration fee £100; deposit £1,400 to secure place (deposits credited against final balance; surplus refunded).
