Admissions Criteria

Springwell is a primary school for children aged 4–11 with complex learning difficulties. All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Guidance for admission lists core areas: Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and Sensory and Physical. The school may provide for pupils with the listed needs, prioritises Southampton residents whose EHCP is supported by Southampton City Council SEND Team, and placements are decided via Local Authority Admissions Panels between January and April each year for the start of the next academic year. Open events/tours are available and an Admissions Pack is sent if successful.
