Delamere School serves children aged 3-11 with learning difficulties and additional complex needs. Its mission is “Together, we Make a Difference” and learning is personalised through a multi-professional team, with close links to the local community. The school has facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, softplay room, sensory room and outdoor learning spaces.

Admissions Criteria

Admission will be either a short-term assessment placement, which will culminate in a multi-agency decision with parents about the most appropriate permanent placement to follow, or following the naming of Delamere School in an Education, Health and Social Care Plan. All pupils admitted to Delamere School will have a degree of learning difficulty, and may have other associated needs such as autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments or behavioural problems.
