Beanstalks provide professional child care facilities for children on-site at Woodheys School. Breakfast Club operating during term-time from 7.45am. We provide a healthy breakfast including cereal, toast, and fruit in a fun and social environment. After School Club operating during term-time until 5.45pm. After-school is a time where the children can enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities. We have extensive use of the school, which in addition to continuous provision allows us to offer chefs club, computer club and sports coaching. Holiday Club running throughout the school holidays (excluding Christmas) with a variety of experiences including day trips and visits from specialist performers. Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential.
We provide SEND support through the Special Needs Coordinator (SENDCO) and the SEN department. The SEND section includes details of SEND reports, action plans, and various supports (e.g., Dyslexia Friendly Support, ADHD Support, ASD Support, Down Syndrome Support). The school emphasises Quality First Teaching and targeted adult support, with interventions in small groups or one-to-one, and reviews progress regularly. The cost for school meals is £13.65 per week (£2.73 per day) which MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE via ParentPay. KS1 meals are free for eligible families. If you are in receipt of Income Support, you may be entitled to claim for free meals throughout your child’s school life. Meals can be removed with one week's notice in writing. Credits are provided for days when your child is absent if you are using ParentPay.
