"An exceptional school for everyone."
Welcome from the Headteacher Sally Harkin. She notes she has served as Deputy Head and now leads Heyes Lane with over 21 years in education. The message emphasises the school's ethos of 'an exceptional school for everyone,' five core values and beliefs, and a hands-on, bespoke curriculum. The aim is for pupils to be confident, articulate, and enthusiastic learners who achieve high standards, while becoming ethical, active citizens who respect others and the world. The Headteacher highlights the supportive, engaging staff and the environment that nurtures happy, successful, and memorable childhoods, with a focus on progress across reading, writing, maths and computing and a love of learning.
