"Our Faith can move Mountains"
St Stephen's is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School with a strong Christian ethos. It seeks to preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with local churches. The Church of England Vision for Education informs the school, emphasising educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills, hope, community, dignity and respect. The school aims to enable pupils to understand how Christianity shaped British culture and heritage while learning about other faiths. The school values are Love, Hope, Resilience, Faith, Justice, Trust and Respect.
Welcome to the St Stephen's (Kearsley Moor) CE Primary School website. I am incredibly proud to be the Head Teacher. Our vision is 'Our Faith can move Mountains,' Matthew 17:20, underpinned by the four key values of Love, Hope, Faith and Trust. We aim to give the children at our school the best possible start to their young lives, to be courageous advocates and respectful citizens of tomorrow. Andrew Townsend, Acting Head Teacher.
