Curriculum Highlights

Follows the National Curriculum from Years 1 to 6. Knowledge-rich, sequenced curriculum with a clearly defined progression framework for building knowledge and skills. Each subject has its own progression grid outlining learning, knowledge, skills and vocabulary in each year. There is an emphasis on speech and language from Reception through to Year 6. The curriculum is inclusive and taught to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND. Curriculum is enriched by first-hand experiences and connected to local, national and global contexts. Extra-curricular activities and pupil leadership opportunities contribute to skills and character development.
