Admissions Criteria

The Governors aim to keep class sizes small and operate near 60 places per year group for Reception–Year 2, with Year 3–6 at near capacity. Two-year-old provision has eight morning and eight afternoon places with a 1:4 ratio; Nursery offers 15 funded hours. Reception admissions are handled by Bolton Local Authority, with criteria including Looked After Children, siblings in school, medical reasons, proximity, and other criteria. In-year admissions are processed by Bolton LA. Applications are made through Bolton admissions; vacancies are allocated by statutory criteria and proximity.
