Head Teacher's Message

A warm welcome from the Headteacher: Elleray Park School is a special school for children aged 2–11 across two sites (Wallasey and Pensby); currently 214 pupils; emphasizes lifelong learning, developing transferable skills, and high expectations in a welcoming, caring environment.

Curriculum Highlights

The Curriculum at Elleray Park is based around the EYFS curriculum and delivered through a thematic approach with the ethos: Unique child; positive relationships; enabling environments Pupils follow one of four curriculum learning pathways: Pre-Formal, SCERTS, Semi Formal, Formal The curriculum employs a thematic 3-year rolling programme and a Whole School Topic Sheet Rolling Programme

SEND Provision

The EPS Outreach Service provides support to mainstream schools in Wirral for pupils with Special Educational Needs. It offers observation of pupils, assessment of needs, advice on current practice, visits to Elleray Park School to model strategies, identification of resources and strategies, and training programs for F1 and F2 practitioners.
