Ethos & Values

"Learning together,Loving God, Becoming the best I can."

Grateful Compassionate Faith-filled Eloquent Learned Curious Intentional Prophetic

As a Catholic Primary school, the basic religious ethos is found across the whole curriculum and not just within the Religious Education timetable. The school aims for the Christian growth of the children, not only in faith but in their understanding of the world as maturing Christians. The Religious Education programme follows the Diocesan scheme of work ‘Learning & Growing as the People of God,’ with a spiral curriculum that covers Liturgical Seasons, Old and New Testament Scripture, and a strong Sacramental focus in each year group. The school emphasises how the Church is organised globally and locally, and encourages participation in the life of the Church.
