St Mary's is a Catholic primary school with Religious Education at the heart of the curriculum. The doctrine is taught in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Religious life includes school Masses, daily prayers and assemblies, sacraments (Reconciliation in Year 3, Holy Communion in Year 3, and Confirmation in Year 6), and strong parish connections with St Mary’s the Mount Church. The school uses Ten:Ten resources for RSE, follows Diocesan guidance for RE, and embraces Catholic Social Teaching throughout campus life, in partnership with CAFOD and parish communities.
