Religious Education is a statutory subject of the school curriculum of maintained schools and therefore religious education shall be provided for all registered pupils. Parents have the right to withdraw their child from religious education lessons. RE actively promotes the values of truth, justice, respect for all and care of the environment. It places specific emphasis on: pupils valuing themselves and others, the role of family and the community in religious belief and activity, the celebration of diversity in society through understanding similarities and differences, sustainable development of the earth and care for creation.
Welcome to Salisbury Primary School. The Headteacher describes rapid developments to create a vibrant, stimulating and high-quality environment where children feel happy, safe and secure. The school is a one-and-a-half form entry with two classes in each year group, enabling high-quality teaching in smaller classes, with a strong emphasis on English and maths and a broad curriculum to foster a love of learning and help children reach their potential.

Nursery: Children are entitled to 15 hours of childcare provision from the term following their 3rd birthday. Reception to Year 6: Children reach compulsory school age on the first day of the term after their fifth birthday; they may start in the September term (before their fifth birthday) or in the first term after their fifth birthday (deferred start). Applications are via the local authority; after a place is offered, the school will contact families to begin admissions. The school also provides information on admission arrangements for 2024/25 and secondary admissions for 2025/26, with links to the Walsall admissions site. Proof of ID (birth certificate/passport) and proof of address are requested during the admissions process; asthma plans or other medical documentation should be provided if applicable.
