Admissions Criteria

Oaklands is a community special school that provides for children with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autistic young people. Applications are made through Hounslow’s SEN Department and the SEN panel. Places are offered if the school can meet the pupil’s needs as indicated in their Education Health and Care Plan; the school may not offer a place if oversubscribed, if the pupil does not have a severe learning difficulty, or if the pupil’s needs present a health and safety risk, and transitions are planned with families and professionals.
