Newnham Infant and Nursery School recognises every child as special and unique. It provides curriculum access for all through quality first teaching, identifies at the earliest opportunity children who need support, meets individual needs through a wide range of provision, carefully maps provision for all vulnerable learners, ensures staff expertise through ongoing professional development, follows the SEND Code of Practice, and works in partnership with the Local Authority and other agencies to provide a multi-professional approach. The aim is to promote self-esteem and emotional well-being and help children form worthwhile relationships based on respect.
