Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club starts at 7.45am and provides a nutritious breakfast. Places should be booked by the Friday of the week preceding the sessions; priority will be given to working parents, vulnerable pupils, those facing difficulties with attending school, and other children. Usually there are spaces for all children who would like to attend. For 2023/2024 the cost was £3.00 per session, rising to £4 after the Easter break; termly block bookings require payment in advance; bookings/payments can be made via Parent Mail. Coteford CurlY Caterpillars After School Club runs from the end of the school day until 5.45pm for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2; spaces can be booked on an as-needed basis or as regular sessions; contact the school office for more information.

SEND Provision

SEND policy follows the SEND Code of Practice; most extra support is provided within the classroom; parents are consulted about extra support; support is identified at termly pupil progress meetings and recorded on a provision map.

Admissions Criteria

Coteford nursery has places for 70 children to attend part time (15 hours) and a limited number of 30-hour places. Places are offered to children who are 3 years and older, with offers in April/May for September start and in October for January intake. If oversubscribed, the same criteria as infant admissions apply, including: children in public care, long-term medical/psychological conditions, a family member's medical/psychological condition, siblings (within distance priority radius or who were admitted prior to 31 August 2017), children living nearest to the school, and staff recruitment priority. The distance priority radius is 750m.

Financial Information

Breakfast Club cost was £3.00 per session (2023/2024), rising to £4 after the Easter break; top-up for 30-hour nursery places is £8 per day; 30-hour nursery top fee is to align the nursery day with the rest of the school; payments via Parent Mail or advance payment for term bookings.
