Curriculum Highlights

Our aim is to provide a rich, varied, and inclusive curriculum which harnesses every child’s potential. We aim to ensure that every child develops effective oracy skills, self-confidence, a determination to be the best that they can be, a respect for themselves and others, and a pride in their own achievements. We visit museums and places of interest including Windsor Castle, the Science Museum, Brunel University, the Natural History Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. Three residential trips in Key Stage 2 focusing on historical immersion, water sports and secondary school transition. There is a range of visitors including author workshops, library visits, historical workshops, police personal and virtual safety workshops and anti-bullying workshops. We engage in a curriculum rich programme of outreach with our feeder secondary school and have an extensive range of extracurricular activities at lunchtime and after school. We hold Flagship Inclusion status in recognition of our highly inclusive practices.

Admissions Criteria

Reception places are allocated by the local authority under its admission policy. Nursery applications can be made via the online Expression of Interest form. In-year admissions are available and handled by the Admissions team. For more details see the Admissions page.
