Admissions Criteria

Priority for admission is given in this order: (1) students with special educational needs whose statement specifies placement at Chace; (2) looked-after children or students for whom the Local Authority considers placement appropriate on medical grounds (supported by a doctor's statement); (3) students with a brother or sister attending the school; (4) students living nearest to the school (as the crow flies). If places are insufficient, priority will be by distance. For primary-to-secondary transfer, sibling priority is only given if the older sibling will still be attending in September. In exceptional circumstances, the Local Authority may override the admissions criteria.
