Curriculum Highlights

Key Stage 1-2: Broad and balanced curriculum with specialist teachers for languages, music, PE, computing and library skills; choir from Year 1 and extensive co-curricular offerings. Years 3-5: Curriculum taught by subject specialists in purpose-built spaces; high pace and challenge. Years 6-8: English, Mathematics in sets; Science; Languages (French then Spanish); Latin begins in Year 6; Newton Prep Diploma blending Humanities with Art; Bay of Naples residential in Years 7-8; Bay of Biscay trip for Year 8. Specialist teaching and immersive experiences in a forward-looking curriculum designed to prepare for senior school and life beyond.

Wraparound Care

Staff-run after-school clubs are included in fees; external providers offer additional after-school activities which will be charged separately.

Admissions Criteria

All pupils are assessed before admission. Nursery admissions are via playdate assessments; Reception admissions involve an assessment in the Autumn before entry; Year 3 (7+ entry) uses assessments including a day of tasks; Years 4–8 may involve tests and interviews; Occasional places may be available in other years. The biggest entry points are Nursery, Reception and Year 3.
