Hurlingham School is a co-educational, non-selective school. Children may join in the Autumn Term following their fourth birthday. Registration can be made at any time. Places are offered in order of registration, with priority given to siblings of pupils already at the school. There is no entrance exam or interview for pupils joining in Reception. Nursery pupils are guaranteed an offer of a place in the Main School. To secure a place, an Acceptance Fee of £2,000 is payable upon offer, with the balance paid the following Spring. Places are offered after a visit, an Online Registration Form, and an Offer Letter containing an Acceptance Form and policies. Siblings automatically receive a place if they are registered. Deposits are held until departure and converted to a deposit on the first day. A 3rd/4th child discount exists.
Nursery fees are termly and vary by the number of weekly sessions (4–10). There are separate schedules for 2-year-olds (with 15-hour universal funding or Working Family funding) and for 3–4 year olds with 15 hours universal funding or 30 hours extended funding. Lunch is included for full-day/afternoon sessions. Ad hoc sessions are charged at £75 each. A third and fourth child discount of 20% applies for youngest siblings attending simultaneously. The school provides government funding options and may adjust funding eligibility.
