Curriculum Highlights

Knowledge-led curriculum with core focus on English and Mathematics Across the wider curriculum including Science, History, Geography, PE and Religious Education as separate subjects Specialist teaching in Music (including instrumental tuition in Year 4 and Year 5), Computing, PE and French Strong emphasis on oracy and reading as key to learning Rosenshine’s Principles of Direct Instruction used to support teaching and learning Curriculum includes cultural capital and SMSC with off-site visits and visitors to enhance learning

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Before and After School care is available for children from Reception up to Year 6. The wraparound care was set up as part of the school’s commitment to improving the availability of affordable childcare for working parents in our school community. The after-school programme is run and managed by Active Day Camps. All bookings and admin is done through their website.
