Park Walk provides SEND support with a graduated approach. The majority of learning needs are met through Quality First Teaching with carefully planned adaptations to the provision in the classroom. When additional support is needed, there is a comprehensive intervention programme, including Additional Maths and English Support, Speech, Language and Communication Support, Social and Emotional Literacy Support, and Gross and Fine Motor Support. As part of the Local Offer, support from Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, CAHMs Support Worker, MIND practitioner and School Nurse is available, alongside involvement from the Autism and Early Years Intervention Team, the SEND Inclusive Education Team and the Behaviour Intervention Team. A SEND Governor supports the school in meeting the needs of all children with additional and special needs. EHCP processes involve the Local Authority providing the EHCP and school involvement in discussions; contact [email protected].
