St Edmund's RC Primary School is a Roman Catholic school that believes Jesus was born, died and rose again for everyone. It aims to keep Catholic traditions and faith alive, celebrate Mass, and welcomes children and families of all faiths while working with parish and diocese partners. The school promotes Gospel Values through its SMSC curriculum and charity work such as Caritas in Action.
Admissions follow the Manchester Local Authority procedures. Nursery places are full-time for children aged three from September 1st to August 31st of the previous year. Reception admissions are handled by Manchester City Council online applications. For Reception – Year 6, families should complete both the Manchester City Council admissions form and the school registration form. If there are vacancies, visits are arranged; if there are no vacancies, the family is referred to the local authority. Secondary admissions are handled by the Local Authority.
