Notre Dame Catholic Primary School’s Catholic identity permeates all areas of school life. The children say prayers three times a day, attend whole-school collective worship at least weekly, take part in acts of prayer and collective worship in class, and Mass is held at the local parish. Year 5 and Year 6 form the Prayer Heroes who support the spiritual life of the school, and there are strong links with the parish and wider community.
Headteacher Nicola McNelis describes Notre Dame as a school that provides a good education with high expectations, a welcoming and diverse community, a broad and balanced curriculum, strong Gospel values, and close links with the parish and local community.
