The school follows the Royal Greenwich SACRE agreed syllabus for Religious Education; teaches Christianity and other world faiths including Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism and Buddhism; uses an enquiry-based approach to help pupils explore beliefs and worldviews with respect for diverse backgrounds.

Ealdham is a two-form entry school with 30 places in each class from Reception to Year 6; admissions are managed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich in line with their admissions arrangements; all applications for a school place (Reception admissions, in-year transfers and appeals) must be made through the Royal Greenwich Admissions Service; Nursery placements are available via a Nursery Application Form and start a term after the third birthday.
