SEND Provision

Linaker Primary is an inclusive school. Our aims for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are the same as for all pupils, to provide access to a broad and balanced curriculum, full participation and the highest quality of education. We understand the importance of making adjustments and personalisation of provision and building a picture based on the whole child. Putting the child and family at the heart of our SEND processes. We have a dedicated SEND team and a Padlet link containing information; SEND policy and Information Report published on the website; Local Offer links; accessibility plan; and contact details for the SEND Co-ordination.

Admissions Criteria

Admission procedures are through Sefton Council. The maximum number of places in our reception class is 60. Offers are issued by post and online. Induction meetings are held, and children may have pre-school taster sessions. In-Year Admissions are possible; applications for entrance into other year groups can be made at any time. Open Days occur in Autumn term. For more information see Sefton Council’s admissions guidance and the school’s admissions policy documents on the site.
