"To ignite and fulfil aspirations"
I am delighted to welcome you to Kings International College. Our vision is to ignite and fulfil aspirations. We provide an exceptional standard of education founded on excellence, opportunity and community cohesion, fostering a lifelong love of learning, personal growth and talents development, with a strong emphasis on belonging, inclusivity and collaboration and the values of aspiration, resilience and respect.
The Southcote Centre is a satellite SEN provision hosted by Philip Southcote School. It is self-contained and fully staffed, using a multi-sensory, therapeutic approach to enable all children to access the curriculum. Small numbers allow for a high level of individual support and in-class support is provided when students attend Kings International College lessons. Admissions are through the SEND KS Transfer process and require an EHCP with agreed Special School Provision and identification of LAN (Learning and Additional Needs). The Southcote Centre welcomes visits from parents via Philip Southcote School.
Admissions criteria if oversubscribed: 1) Looked after and previously looked after children; 2) Children with exceptional arrangements; 3) Sibling at time of admission; 4) Children who are children of staff employed at the school for two or more years or staff recruited to fill a vacant post; 5) Children eligible for the Service Children in Education Premium; 6) All other children. Offers are based on distance within category 6, and a waiting list is kept.
