St Elphege's RC Infant and Junior Schools are Catholic schools and part of the Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust. The schools emphasise safeguarding and the Catholic ethos, with learning guided by the Holy Spirit and a mission to develop the whole child. The schools converted to academy status on 1 February 2025 and are two of five founding schools of the Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust. The RE curriculum uses the Come and See scheme, with regular liturgies and Masses, and opportunities to experience other faiths (Judaism, Sikhism, Islam) with visits to churches, mosques and cathedrals.
Executive Headteacher Martin Jones welcomes visitors, describes St Elphege's RC Infant and Junior Schools as an expanding school of approximately 750 pupils, educating children aged 3 to 11. The school opened in 1969 and celebrated its 50th anniversary; the leadership looks forward to meeting families and answering questions.
