Admissions Criteria

Brighton & Hove admissions arrangements apply for community infant, primary and junior schools. Oversubscription priorities are: 1) Looked after children and previously looked after children; 2) Compelling medical or other exceptional reasons; 3) Sibling link; 4) Children transferring between linked infant and junior schools; 5) Other children. The distance to the school is used as a tie-break if applications exceed places. Proof of address is required and false information may lead to withdrawal.
