"Inspiring success"
Rebecca Cottage, Head Teacher, describes Marjorie McClure School as an outstanding special school for students with complex medical needs and physical disabilities. The school offers a personalised curriculum focused on communication, independence, life skills and social skills alongside traditional academic subjects. A multi‑agency approach is used, with on-site nursing, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. In 2023 the school moved to a new purpose‑built site with wheelchair‑accessible facilities including a sensory room, immersive room, soft play room and rebound therapy room, and in 2024 the Chelsea Flower Show garden was added. In September 2024 the school joined the Nest Academy Trust (NEST).
