Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Mr J Brown states that Co‑op Academy Medlock aims to fulfil every child’s highest potential, develop confident, independent and engaged learners, and foster a diverse, caring community. The school emphasises lifelong learning, British Values and preparing pupils to be confident global citizens ready for the next educational step.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound Care runs daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Breakfast Club is available from 8:00 am with last entry at 8:30 am; After School Club is available (prices: Breakfast Club £20 per half term; After School Club £10 per day). Additional hours can be purchased and payments are added weekly via Arbor; if a child is absent, hours are still payable.

SEND Provision

Special Educational Needs (SEND) support is led by SEND Coordinators; contact in the academy is Ms L. McColgan. The academy provides SEND support and safeguarding as part of its provision.
