Edgewood follows a bespoke, aspirational learning journey tailored to each pupil’s development stage Individualised curriculum pathways driven by EHCP outcomes Whole-school half-termly thematic approach covering the seven broad areas of learning: linguistic, mathematical, scientific, technological, human and social, physical, aesthetic and creative Progress measured using MAP(P) (Mapping and Assessing Personal Progress) / Assessment of Lateral Progress in four areas (Independence, Fluency, Maintenance, Generalisation) with a 1–10 baseline scale Small class groups with high levels of staff support Multi-disciplinary teams integrating sensory, communication and educational needs Therapy integrated into the school day (occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, mental health supports)

Autism; Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties; Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties; Associated behavioural difficulties. Children are ages 7 to 16.
