"Learn, Believe, Achieve Together"
Welcome to Birch Hill Primary School and Nursery. We are a two form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth districts of Bracknell Forest. In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and host an Inclusion Unit (KS2). Our Motto is: Learn, Believe, Achieve Together. We set high standards of work and achieve this through providing a curriculum that also develops children's belief that they can achieve their highest aspirations while working closely with parents and the whole community.
Birch Hill is a mainstream school that provides for pupils with a wide range of special needs, including Cognition & Learning Needs; Communication, speech, language and social communication needs; Emotional, Social or Mental Health care needs; and Sensory and/or physical needs. All pupils access Quality First Teaching with appropriate differentiation, and the school uses a whole-school Building Learning Power (BLP) programme to encourage learning how to learn and resilience.
Nursery admissions use a Nursery Application Form returned to the school. Applications for Reception and in-year transfers (through to Year 6) are made by Bracknell Forest residents to Bracknell Forest Borough Council; residents of other authorities should apply via their home authority which will forward the application to Bracknell Forest. For more details see Bracknell Forest primary admissions or contact 01344 352000.
