Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Clare Grainger-Roystone welcomes visitors and describes Ladywood as a school with a warm welcome, a building described as an ugly duckling on the outside but a beautiful swan inside, secure facilities, extensive grounds and an Ofsted rating of Good (Oct 2023). The school emphasises values of confidence, resilience, enthusiasm, respect, curiosity and articulate, and the motto ‘If we can dream it, we can do it!’

Two blocks: Top block housing the Early Years Foundation Unit and Key Stage 1; Main school housing the reception, hall, offices and Key Stage 2 Two buildings joined by a covered walkway Security pad entry systems and gates locked during the school day Extensive grounds including grass, playgrounds, trim trails, multi use games arena (MUGA), shaded seating, tyre park and a forest area EYFS has a separate fenced outdoor play area Outdoor environment described as an outdoor classroom

Admissions Criteria

Ladywood Primary School welcomes pupils in from the age of 3 to 11 years. Our nursery offers 15 hour funded places, usually taken as a morning or afternoon session, as well as a limited number of 30 hour funded places.
