He highlights high-quality teaching and learning, a curious and creative curriculum, a strong emphasis on outdoor learning in the rural setting, and inviting families to visit the school.
Ashfield Primary is an academy school with the Collaborative Learning Trust as the admission authority. Leeds City Council manages our admissions both in-year and for Reception places. The Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30 for Reception in 2027. Applications must be made to the local authority who processes offers and maintains waiting lists. If there are more applications than places, offers are made by the Local Authority on national offer day, and there is guidance on waiting lists and appeals. For Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, infant class size limits apply (30 pupils per class by law) and appeals in these year groups are less likely to be successful. Nursery admissions are handled through the same admissions framework, with processes and policies available for review. Information is available via the school’s admissions policy documents (including PDFs for specific years) and the Leeds City Council appeals process.
