Executive Headteacher Mr Mike Smith welcomes visitors and emphasises Prestwood Village Schools as part of the Great Learners Trust, with a focus on developing the whole child through an ambitious, broad and balanced curriculum and a commitment to happiness, safety and outstanding progress.
Clubs
Breakfast club opens at 7:30am and children can be dropped off anytime from then; after-school club runs until 6pm and children can be collected at any time; Willow wraparound care provides care before and after the school day and pupils from Breakfast Club are taken to their classes (and pupils attending after-school club are taken over at the end of the day).
All pupils on the SEN register have a SEND support plan. The school provides trained Learning Support Assistants to run interventions and provide additional provisions. It uses Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) and has a dedicated SENDCo (Mrs Helen Cordell) and Pastoral Lead (Miss Grace O'Connor). The Pastoral Lead oversees mental health and wellbeing, and there are SEND information and policy documents available (SEND Information Report 2025, SEND Policy GLT 2025).
Infant School has 60 reception places; Junior School has 60 Year 3 class places; Transfer from the Infants to the Juniors is not automatic; Admissions are administered by Buckinghamshire Council. Nursery/Preschool admissions are handled through the school office, with some funded two-year-old places eligibility.
