Welcome message from the Co-Headteachers Nicola Beesley and Donna Kelloway describing Oak Green School as a busy 3-form entry primary with ARP, emphasising community, care, inclusivity and high learning standards, and inviting visits.
Oak Green School has an ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) for pupils with ASC. The ARP provides specialist support in a dedicated environment with classrooms and resources, with the aim of achieving up to 80% inclusion into mainstream classes where appropriate. The ARP has its own teaching rooms within the mainstream school and a qualified teacher to support children who are unable to access their mainstream classes for short periods. ARP pupils have full and equal access to all extra-curricular activities and trips.
Admissions follow Buckinghamshire Council policy, with priority given to children who live locally. All places are allocated by Buckinghamshire Council, which also holds waiting lists. The school references the Council’s admissions policy and guidance for applying and appeals. The Nursery and Pre-School admissions outline priority orders: for Eagle Owls Pre-School (3-4 years) and Little Owls Nursery (2-3 years), priority is given in order to Looked After Children, those with compelling educational/social/medical needs, elder siblings at Oak Green, catchment area residents, and then other applicants. For full details, refer to the Buckinghamshire Council admissions pages linked on the school site.
