Headteacher Mrs K Ellis-Holmes says Manorfield aims to give each child every opportunity for learning and their futures, celebrates individuality, and provides a nurturing, safe environment where children can have fun, be challenged and become the best version of themselves.
SENDCo is Miss Clarke; Manorfield Infant & Nursery School is part of BBEST Partnership; supported by Kirklees Local Authority; aims to meet SEND needs in a mainstream setting.
Admissions are via the Kirklees online system. Nursery places are available for 2- to 4-year-olds, with universal 15 hours free care and some 30-hour funded places. Nursery sessions are 8:30-11:30 (morning) and 12:30-3:30 (afternoon, with 30 hours funding possible as 12:15-3:15). Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 run 8:40-3:10. Applications should be made via Kirklees; appeals guidance is available; transfer between schools is via Kirklees website.
