Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Mrs Rebecca Hesmondhalgh joined Whitcliffe Mount as Headteacher in November 2022 and emphasizes the school's role in developing community, belonging, high aspiration and supporting students to achieve their best.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are administered via Kirklees Council. For September 2026, applications can be made online between 1 September 2025 and 31 October 2025 using the Kirklees Portal. If applying after this period, chances of obtaining a place may be reduced. If not living in Kirklees, applications must be made via the home local authority. In-year admissions are handled via the ICAF process, with offers communicated by the admissions authority and induction details arranged with the Head of Year after placement.
