Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to BOA Digital Technologies Academy. Dr Jon Morris, Principal, describes the school as a place where creativity, curiosity and technology collide to solve real problems and open real opportunities, with industry connections and hands-on projects guiding learning.

Curriculum Highlights

KS3 core subjects: Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, Computer Science and Coding, Art, Music, Physical Education (PE) and Spanish Six-week technology project covering digital skills and technology EBacc is included in the curriculum; to achieve EBacc, students need a grade 4 or above in English, Mathematics, Science, a Language and History or Geography KS4 Core subjects: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined Science, Physical Education (not examined), PSHE (not examined) KS4 Optional Subjects include: BTEC Tech Award in Digital Information Technology; BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media Production; History or Geography; Fine Art; Photography; Design and Technology; BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media Production Students will study 7 or 8 GCSEs with one or two BTEC Awards, providing a strong foundation in Digital Technologies alongside a breadth of qualifications suitable for further study or employment
