"Enabling children to flourish and succeed"
Belgrave St Peter's is a church school with a strong Christian ethos of care, empathy and understanding, aiming to ensure that each child is cared for holistically. We provide an environment where every child is valued and given the right support to help them reach their full potential. Each child’s ability, aptitudes, gifts and talents are encouraged and we work together to develop these skills and provide the nurture and support all children (and their families) need whilst they are with us. The Headteacher, staff and governors at Belgrave St Peter's are fully committed to the integration and inclusion of every child.
The Leicester City Local Offer for Young People with SEND is available to help families understand what services are available for their child. The Local Offer is referenced on the site, along with Voluntary Action Leicester, SEND Identification Process (May 2024), SEND Policy, BSP SEND Information report 25-26, and SEND Form for contacting the school. The school emphasises early help and has a safeguarding/DLS structure and information about Operation Encompass and School Nursing services.
Admissions are administered with involvement from the Diocese of Leicester Board of Education (appeals information on their site). For first time applications, applicants should use the Leicester City Council Admissions webpage. For mid-term (in-year) admissions, contact the school to arrange a visit and apply via Leicester City Council Admissions. Admissions Policy 2024-2025, 2025-2026, and 2026-2027 are listed on the site.
