Peel Brow School operates a Local Authority SEN Unit – The Hive (12 places). The Hive is mainly for children with a diagnosis of Autism and those with speech, language and communication needs. It is led and managed by the school SENCo, with a staff team that has SEND knowledge. The Hive teacher is Miss K. Ludden. The curriculum is tailored to meet the children’s needs and is focused on the Engagement Model and EYFS Curriculum.
