Pathways is a recently opened Resource Provision structured to meet the learning needs of up to 12 young people across Year 1 to Year 4. It is defined by Ofsted as a provision for pupils who will spend more than half of their time in mainstream classes with support, and provides a high level of staffing and a nurturing environment with bespoke timetables, sensory experiences and individualized support to maximise learning potential.
Admissions priority follows: 1) Looked After Children and previously looked after children; 2) Children who will have an older brother or sister in the school; 3) Other children. If oversubscribed, places are offered by straight-line distance from home to school, with random allocation used to break ties for equal distances. Reception admissions are made to Bury Council; other year groups by the school. Parents may appeal once per year.
