Executive Headteacher welcomes families to Oakfield First School, emphasising a right to education that develops personality, talents and abilities; aims for a happy, stimulating environment with a creative and enriched curriculum; values every member of the school community and promotes inclusivity within a diverse community; invites visits to the school.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound care includes Breakfast Club and Tea Club run by Oakfield staff in the school dining room. Breakfast Club operates daily during term time, opening at 7:50am with a selection including cereals, yoghurt, fruit and toast and various activities. Tea Club operates daily during term time from the end of school until 6:00pm, with a menu that commonly includes a sandwich, yoghurt, fruit and drink, and hot options occasionally available. Costs (September 2025): Breakfast Club session £9 per child; Ad-hoc £10. Tea Club: 3.15pm–5.30pm £15 (includes a light tea); 3.15pm–4.30pm £9; 4.30pm–5.30pm £10. An admin fee of £1 applies to ad-hoc sessions. Childcare vouchers option available.
