Curriculum Highlights

Peer Learning and Social Development - Mixed-age interaction encourages younger children to learn from older peers, while older children reinforce their understanding by modelling behaviours and skills. Leadership and responsibility - Supporting younger peers nurtures empathy, patience and social responsibility. Consolidation of skills - Teaching or modelling behaviours strengthens understanding. Confidence building - Being seen as capable and “grown-up” raises self-esteem. Community feel - A mixed-age environment mirrors real-world social settings, fostering collaboration and friendships across ages. Flexible learning - Staff can group children by developmental stage rather than strict age, personalising learning.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8 am, providing pupils with a nutritious breakfast followed by a fun fitness session. We charge £2.00 per child per day, which is paid in advance of the days required on a Monday morning. We welcome all year groups from Reception to Year 6.
