I am delighted to have joined Barnes Junior School as Headteacher in January 2025. It is an honour to be part of a vibrant and dedicated school community. I am committed to providing an environment where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to reach their full potential, and I look forward to working with our staff, governors and families.

Breakfast Club: 7.30 - 8.50am at £5 per pupil per day (includes breakfast and childcare). After-School Wraparound: 3.30 - 5.30pm, £7 per day (includes a snack and childcare). If attending after-school activity until 4:30pm, wraparound until 5:30pm is available at a reduced price. Wraparound care is based in the new dining block and led by school staff. To book, use the Schoolcomms app; payment required by 3.00pm the day before.
The Hive is an alternative provision for children within school who are on the Autistic Spectrum. Children who access The Hive follow a personalised curriculum to meet their needs, which includes English and Maths as well as topics of interest and life skills. The Nest is a short-term intervention provision within school to help children with their Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The children follow the school curriculum within The Nest. Children take part in circle time daily. Within this time they are learning social skills: they explore emotions, techniques to help with those emotions, and life skills.
