Head Teacher message explains St Patrick’s is a Catholic school where the Catholic faith and Gospel Values underpin aims; staff strive to make lessons engaging and enjoyable, offer extra-curricular activities, and work with other schools and organisations to create opportunities; visits to the school are welcomed.
Breakfast club runs from 7:45am – 8:30am (Monday to Friday). After school club runs from 3:20pm – 5:20pm (Monday to Thursday). There is no after school club on Fridays. The cost of both clubs is very reasonable. Children are provided with cereal, toast and a drink at breakfast club and have a snack and a drink at after school club.
School meals are supplied by Chadwick’s Kitchen (in-house catering). All Key Stage 1 pupils are entitled to a free school meal.
In-year admissions are possible outside the standard admission round; where places are available but applications exceed places, the published oversubscription criteria will be applied (as per admission arrangements). If no places are available, a waiting list may be used. Applicants will be informed of the outcome in writing; there is a right to appeal to an independent panel. For in-year admissions contact the school office or Sunderland City Council.
